Ricki Jackson

Sherika “Ricki” Jackson has lived in the greater Charlotte her whole life and loves how it has all the big city amenities—professional sports, restaurants, live music, and theatre—but with a small-town feel because of the friendliness, warmth, and charm of its people.

A first-generation college graduate, Ricki holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work from Winthrop University, where she was also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha. While pursuing her education, she volunteered at many local organizations that hold a special place in her heart: Second Harvest Food Bank, Salvation Army Center of Hope, Florence Crittenton Services of NC, The Men’s Shelter of Charlotte, NC Dance Theatre, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (RAIN), and many others.

“I’ve always been driven to go above and beyond what others expect—whether I’m volunteering or working to help a client find their dream home. A home is often a person’s biggest purchase and a pathway to building wealth, so I treat every transaction as if it were my own. I want clients to be assured they got the best possible deal because I negotiated hard on their behalf.”

In her spare time, Ricki loves to watch NBA games, especially the Charlotte Hornets and the Portland Trailblazers (Damian Lillard is her favorite player because of his sportsmanship, leadership, and style of play). But her greatest joy is hanging out with her 8-year-old son who also shares her love of basketball!
